90 Hour childrens yoga Teacher Training
Accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals
Our 90 Hour Teacher Training is a fully comprehensive 14 week training in Children’s Yoga, accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals. The course includes our 40 Hour Foundation Training with an additional 4 Advanced Modules in Mindfulness, Special Educational Needs, Philosophy for Children and an introduction to Teaching Teens. The course starts with a 6 week Foundation with weekly live online sessions followed by 4 Advanced modules. These can be completed at your own pace with the individual support of a tutor, although we recommend 8 weeks for completion.. The course covers everything from planning classes, child development, teaching mindfulness programmes, managing behaviour, applying yoga philosophy and teaching neurodiverse children and special needs.
The Teacher Trainings start in Jan, March and September. These include 6 Saturday morning live group workshops during the Foundation stage with a Children’s Yoga class for a specific age group and interactive sessions on each module - with discussions, break out rooms and Q&As.
This is followed by 4 self paced Advanced modules completed at your own pace - diving deep into our Special Needs, Mindfulness programmes for Schools, Philosophy and Teaching Teens. Each student is assigned a buddy and a tutor to help you stay on track throughout the course and provide individual feedback on assignments. The course also includes a final live 1 hour sessionwith your individual mentor - Siobhan or Emma to discuss challenges, goals and next steps.
You will finish the course with a 90 Hour accredited qualification in teaching yoga to children and the opportunity to join our international Teacher Network to share and find support from children’s yoga teachers around the world.

‘The advanced modules of Teaching Children with Special Needs was like being on a magical journey with Wild Yoga Tree. This is achieved through a warm, friendly and supportive virtual learning environment. The content is thorough, challenging thinking and incredibly detailed. Having access to written content and instructors that are responsive and understanding to work life commitments should not be undervalued as their kindness shines through in every interaction. This course has set me up in my professional and personal life and is highly recommended. ‘ Cheryl
‘I am ever so grateful to Emma and Siobhan for sharing their knowledge, expertise and passion with other yoga teachers. The online advanced kids yoga teacher course was very thorough, covered every possible angle and took me to a new level of teaching. Every time I do a course or stand alone workshop with Wild Yoga Tree I get a new surge of inspiration that translates into my own teaching and the way I can continue to inspire kids and their parents to join me on this yoga journey.
There was so much there to take in, digest and learn from. I also feel much more equipped now to start teaching yoga to kids with special needs. It doesn't feel daunting any more as I have a better understanding of conditions and their specific needs and numerous tools up my sleeves. I specifically enjoyed Yoga Nidra part of the course and will definitely continue further exploration. “ Yelena
