Giving Back

Yoga helps to change children’s lives by giving them the skills to look after their mental and physical health. Through the hundreds of wonderful and inspiring yogis that we have trained at Children’s Yoga Tree Training School we reach thousands of children every year with these tools for well-being in the UK, US, Europe and Asia. However we know that too many children around the world are unable to access the life changing experience of yoga and do not receive adequate love, support and opportunities to play in their daily lives.

At Children’s Yoga Tree we are proud to donate 10% of profits from our Training School to support vulnerable children in their community to give them the opportunity to develop their unique strengths and skills. This year we have created a fund to run a Children’s Yoga Teacher Training programme for schools in deprived communities in Southern Africa. Our goal is to provide high quality training free for teachers so that they can pass on the gift of yoga to thousands of children growing up in poverty.

Teacher Training Bursaries
We also offer one 2 bursaries place on every Teacher Training Course we run. These are aimed at Teachers in the UK or worldwide who are struggling to meet the cost of training and who wish to make a difference for deprived children in their communities. Please contact us for an application form if you wish to apply for a bursary places.

Noni, from the township of Alexandra in Johannesburg completed her Children’s Yoga Teacher Training with Wild Tree Yoga in 2023 on a full bursary and is now in setting up the very first yoga studio in the township to bring the life changing skills of yoga to the children growing up in her community.

Child Focused 

Children's Yoga Tree aims to make yoga and mindfulness accessible to children from all backgrounds in the UK. 

Yoga promotes physical and emotional well-being. It develops children's ability to achieve in all areas of life through increased focus, confidence and optimum health.  We work with charity partners and funders to make this goal possible and allow all children in the UK to access high quality, affordable yoga classes.

Community Development

We connect with partner organisations in the UK and internationally in the field of education, health and sport to share our expertise in children's yoga teaching. Our goal is to create an international network of children's yoga teachers in inner city, rural and deprived communities to improve the outcomes for vulnerable children.
